I had an extraordinary dream.
Two groups of Dadas and Didis (not political groups or factions) were playing a game. They were somewhere in a public place. About 10-15 Dadas and Didis were on the one side and about the same number of Dadas and Didis were on another side, facing each other just 2-3 meters apart.
Then someone started to sing. It was so nice. It seemed to be some sort of Prabhat Samgiita with parts that had to be improvised or created by the singer. And the singer had to sing about a problem that had to be solved in the world and the aim was to convince the other group that this was a problem worthy of finding a solution and that the solution was worthy of being supported in one way or another. Something like that.
When the singer had finished he threw a coin / one paisa / cent / penny at the other group. And someone in the other group caught it.
Then someone in the other group responded to the first singer by going on with the singing and elaborating on or pointing out the difficulties or praising some aspect of that problem and it’s solution. Something like that.
The singing thus went back and forth from one group to another. It was a sort of wonderful musical debate.
And each time someone began to sing, first a coin had to be thrown at the the other group, thus indicating that the singer’s solution or project had been worthy of support.
And each member of the group had to support the singer and cheer him or her up. As this was taking place in public, the bystanders also got emotional and became involved in respectful ways.
As I was watching this, at some point the thought came into my mind that this should be done not only in India (the singing had probably been in Bengali) but in all the sectors of the world.
During the dream I felt that this coin had been symbolic of the grace of Parama Purusa. That wee bit of the Grace of Baba.
And after I woke up the idea came that this coin could be used to inspire others to donate to a particular project. A sort of fundraiser.
It was very beautiful.
