saintly Purodha Pramukha

16.05.2012

I was dreaming that I was in some sort of hall and that we were waiting for the Purodha Pramukha to arrive.

Some Italian margiis had been doing kiirtan there and I think most of the people were family margiis, although there might have been some Dadas or Didis there organising. For most of us it was the first time to see the Purodha Pramukha and there was some curiosity in the air.

When the Purodha Pramukha finally came, the order in which we were sitting somehow changed and it so happened that he ended up sitting very near me. Only one other person was in between us. But soon he got up again and approached everyone individually as he walked past us all.

During all this time he had his hands folded by his chest and seemed to be in deep thought of concern and understanding. He did not speak. Although he could have been a sanyasii and had a short beard, he did not wear a sanyasii uniform. He might have been a family person in his mid forties or early fifties with somewhat curly black hair and of Aryan origin.

Maybe he didn't want to convince others by words. But his conduct revealed him to be a saintly person.
